The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to a collision that occurred on Friday, Nov. 17 in the south end of the capital.

At approximately 2:25 pm, officers were called to Leitrim Road, west of Bowesville Road, in response to a collision involving a motor vehicle and a commercial truck.

Police said 64-year-old-driver and 20-year-old passenger of the motor vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and remain in critical condition.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
