KISS cancels Ottawa concert at CTC due to Paul Stanley having the flu

By Anil Jhalli

KISS announced it has cancelled its scheduled performance at the Canadian Tire Centre (CTC) on Tuesday, Nov. 21 due to an “unforeseen illness in the band party.”

The legendary band was scheduled to play in Ottawa as part of the ‘End of the Road Tour’. Some fans had already arrived at the arena, only to be told the show was not happening.

Ticketmaster confirmed the concert’s cancellation on its website, and has posted refund information.

Paul Stanley, frontman, co-founder and guitarist for KISS revealed that he is battling the flu, which is the reason the band did not perform in Ottawa.

KISS’ show in Toronto has also been cancelled as Stanley deals with the illness.

He posted to X and apologized to fans in both Ottawa and Toronto.
