OPP issues video plea as investigation continues after woman’s body found near Pakenham

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is pleading with members of the public to come forward with information after the body of a 50-year-old woman was discovered close to Pakenham, Ontario.
The OPP launched an investigation after body of Rose Kerwin was found in a river near Pakenham on Sunday, Nov. 12. Rose had recently been reported missing from Carleton Place, along with her vehicle, a blue 2013 Mazda GX four-door sedan with the Ontario licence plate CSXW383.
The OPP has issued a plea on X, asking anyone to come forward with any information as the investigation continues.
“We are looking to speak to anyone who may have had recent contact with Rose Kerwin,” Det. Insp. Jennifer Patton said in the video. “We also want to hear from anyone with doorbell, dashcam, or video recordings from the days leading up to Rose’s disappearance.”
