Pedestrian struck by vehicle on Montreal Road dies, police seeking witnesses

An elderly pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Vanier late last month has died from their injuries.

The crash involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian happened on Montreal Road at Église Street around 4:55 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.

The elderly pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by the Ottawa Paramedic Service.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident who have not yet spoken to police.
