At approximately 12:44 a.m., a food delivery employee was driving on Cumberland Street when he was tackled off his scooter. The three suspects began assaulting the victim.

The suspects stole the victim’s electric scooter and fled the area. A few minutes later, two of the three suspects were captured on surveillance cameras at an apartment building on King Edward Avenue.

    The suspects are described as:

    • Suspect one: white male, hair in a bun on the top of his head, dark cloth
    • Suspect two: white male, tall, dark jacket, blue jeans and a red hoodie
    • Suspect three: wearing blue jeans and an orange construction vest (no photo available)

Anyone with information as to the identity of these individuals, or information about this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.

Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477.
