Federal offender wanted for again breaching statutory release found

Police have arrested a a man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release.

The provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad said he was found in Ottawa on Friday.

Marc Poulin, 54, is serving a two year, 12 day sentence for theft under $5,000 and breaching probation.

He has breached his statutory release in the past.

The Provincial ROPE Squad thanked the public for their assistance in this investigation.
