Police release photos of suspect from two armed robberies in Orleans

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identity a suspect responsible for two robberies that took place earlier this year.

On Jan. 7 at around 5 a.m., the suspect entered a store in the 1900 block of Trim Road in Orleans. They were armed with a firearm and demanded cash and cigarettes.

On Jan. 10 at approximately 3:30 a.m., the suspect entered the same store and again demanded cash and cigarettes.

In both robberies, the suspect fled on foot and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as:

  • White male
  • About 30 years old
  • 5’10” (178 cm)
  • Large build
  • Brown moustache
  • Jan. 7 robbery – wore a black snowmobile suit with construction jacket and face covering
  • Jan. 10 robbery – wore a black snowmobile suit, ski goggles, headlamp, black knapsack, and seen carrying a shovel
