1 injured, road closed after Highway 401 crash south of Ottawa

The driver of a tractor-trailer was injured after being rear-ended by another truck early Sunday morning south of the capital.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the crash happened on County Road 15 near the village of Maitland.

Paramedics brought one of the drivers to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said Highway 401 eastbound at Country Road 15 is closed because of the collision.

No other injuries were reported.
