2 injured, including police officer, in 3 vehicle Barrhaven crash

Paramedics say two people have minor injuries after three vehicles were involved in a crash in Ottawa’s southwest end.

OPS said in a release that the crash happened at the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Fallowfield Road at around 4:22 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

Police said one of the vehicles involved was a police cruiser.

Two people, a police officer and the driver of one of the vehicles, suffered minor injuries.

Paramedics released the officer at the scene, according to spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps.

The driver was brought to hospital as a precaution, according to police.

Police closed off the intersection but has since re-opened the area.
