11 charged after OPP seize suspected cocaine, fentanyl in Pembroke drug bust

Police have charged 11 people with trafficking, including two teens, after a drug bust in Pembroke.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said they executed two search warrants at homes on William Street on Jan. 25. Police said they found suspected fentanyl and cocaine, along with scales, money, drug paraphernalia and cell phones.

Officers said they arrested 11 at the scene.

Zachary Cochrane, 21, Jesse Lagace, 26, Michelle Lance, 20, Derick Timothy Scott Sullivan, 38, Christopher Winter, 22, Roseanne Mary Gutoskie, 55, Major Charles, 43, of Pembroke, Aidan Patrick Scott, 30, of Clarence-Rockland, and a 16 and 17-year-old youths all face the following charges:

• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

The two accused youths were released to appear at the Youth Division of the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on March 14.

Cochrane was also charged with three counts of breach of probation. He was released at a bail hearing and is due in court in Pembroke on March 5.

Gutoskie is also facing one count of breach of probation and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court on March 11.

Scott is additionally charged with two counts of breach of probation and was held for a bail hearing on Feb. 2.

Charles was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody ahead of another bail hearing on Wednesday.

The remaining accused persons were released and are scheduled to appear in court on March 11.
