House under construction goes up in flames in Nepean

There are no injuries reported after a house fire in Nepean.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to Promenade Avenue, between Brisbane Road and Greenside Avenue, just after midnight.
Dispatch has received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting visible smoke and flames coming from the home.
A working fire was declared and when firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with flames throughout the second floor.
Fire crews began a defensive attack within three minutes of being dispatched, keeping all firefighters outside the building for safety.
The fire was declared under control at 1:12 a.m.
An fire investigator was dispatched to determine the origin and cause.
