OPP charge eastern Ontario woman after over $100K went ‘missing’

Provincial police say a woman was arrested after a years long fraud investigation in a county southwest of Kingston, Ont.

OPP officers say they’ve been investigating the financial discrepancies since 2021, which culminated into the woman’s arrest on Friday.

Police charged Theresa Moore, 43, from Centre Hastings with fraud over $5,000, criminal breach of trust and forgery.

Moore was released from custody.

She has a court date in Picton on March 6.
