The O-Train is out of service between uOttawa and Hurdman on Wednesday thanks to a gouge on the overhead catenary system found near Lees Station, says OC Transpo general manager Renée Amilcar.
“Repairs are currently underway and service on both tracks is anticipated to resume later this afternoon,” wrote Amilcar in a memo to city council.
OC Transpo says riders should use the eastbound platform for service in both directions at Hurdman, Lees and uOttawa stations. R1 bus services are running between Rideau and St-Laurent stations.
Trains are still running in both directions between Tunney’s Pasture and uOttawa stations as well as between Blair and Tremblay stations.
“Please listen to on-board and station announcements for more information,” wrote OC Transpo on X. “We are working to resolve as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience.”
This is a developing story.
