Pair faces dozens of drug charges after east Ontario traffic stop: OPP

Two people are facing dozens of charges after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust in a community southeast of the capital last Thursday.

OPP say they pulled a vehicle over for expired plates around 12:30 p.m. on Dickinson drive in South Stormont, Ont.

Police say during the traffic stop they found suspected cannabis, cannabis products, hash and magic mushrooms.

Officers charged Gulliver Royster, 26, and Kabilan Anura, 28, with:

Anura is facing extra counts of the possession and trafficking charges. Royster was also charged with driving without a permit.

Both were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall at a later date.
