4 charged after OPP find prohibited weapons in Lennox and Addington homes

Police say they charged four people after executing two search warrants in Lennox and Addington County.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says that on March 20, shortly before 8 p.m. officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Flinton Road in Lennox and Addington County. Police say they seized a crossbow, assorted ammunition, and a firearms magazine as well as arrested 23-year-old Emily Woodcock.

They charged her with failure to comply with release order other than to attend court.

Woodcock was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on April 23.

On the same day, shortly after 10 p.m., police executed another warrant at a residence on Queen Street in Arden. Police say they arrested three people and seized a long gun and a crossbow.

Dylan Godfrey-Kellar, 28, Jeremy Teeple, 46, and Patrick French, 31, were also arrested.

Godfrey-Kellar was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition, knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm, two counts of fail to comply with release order other than attend court and two counts of fail to comply with probation order.

Teeple was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition, knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm and fail to comply with release order other than court.

French was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition, knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm and fail to comply with probation order.

The three were held for a bail hearing and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on a later date.
