What’s open and closed for Easter Monday

There are still a few closures to be aware of for Easter Monday.

Client Service Centres:

• The City’s 3-1-1 Contact Centre is open for urgent matters only. Please visit ottawa.ca/311 for more information.
• All services at Ottawa City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West), Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive), Kanata (580 Terry Fox Drive), Orléans (255 Centrum Boulevard) and the City’s Provincial Offences Court (100 Constellation Drive) is closed.
• The Business Licensing Centre at 735 Industrial Avenue is closed.
• The City of Ottawa Spay and Neuter Clinic at 26 Concourse Gate is closed.

Green bin, recycling and garbage collection:

• There is no curbside green bin, recycling, garbage or bulky item collection. Monday’s pick up will take place on Tuesday. All other collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
• Multi-residential garbage containers will be collected on the regular scheduled day. There is no multi-residential recycling container, green bin or bulky items collection. Monday’s pick up will take place on Tuesday.
  Collections of multi-residential recycling containers, bulky items and green bins will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
• The Trail Waste Facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

OC Transpo:

• OC Transpo bus service and O-Train Line 1 is running on a reduced weekday schedule on Monday.
• The OC Transpo Lost and Found (Heartwood House) is closed Monday. Customers can call 613-560-5000 to report or retrieve a lost item.
• Para Transpo:
  • Regular bookings or recurring trips are automatically cancelled.

Recreation and cultural services:

• Some indoor pools, arenas, and recreation and fitness centres will be open or operating on a modified schedule. Please check ottawa.ca for details. Some regular public swims may be cancelled on short notice due to a shortage of lifeguards. It is recommended you confirm by checking with the facility before leaving home. 
• All City-operated museums and Shenkman Arts Centre are closed on Monday, April 1. 
• Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe are closed on Monday, April 1.
• The Nepean Creative Arts Centre and Nepean Visual Arts Centre are closed. Arts Court is also closed.
• The City of Ottawa Archives is closed.

Municipal child care services:

City-operated Child Care Centres are closed on Easter Monday.

Library:

All branches, departments and services of the Ottawa Public Library are closed.
