Vaping products seized from Gatineau convenience store

The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) says information from the public has led to the seizure of vaping products from a local convenience store.

Police received a report about the sale of tobacco and vaping products to minors which led to the execution of a search warrant at 642 Labrosse Boulevard in the Gatineau sector.

Members of the Gatineau police crime section seized the following items:

49 flavored liquid refills for vapes
25 sachets of flavored nicotine films for vaping devices
5 knives corresponding to weapons prohibited under the Criminal Code
Accessories facilitating the sale of illegal products

Police say the business owner will receive tickets under the Tobacco Control Act.
The investigation continues and additional charges could be laid.
