Ottawa OPP nab four speeders in one day on Hwy. 417

It was a busy day for the Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

On Wednesday four drivers were charged with stunt driving in three separate incidents on Highway 417.

First, two drivers in two separate incidents were clocked going the same speed, 157 km/h.

Each had their drivers licence suspended for 30 days and their vehicles impounded for 14 days.

Later, two drivers were seen weaving in and out of traffic prior to being stopped by police.

One of the drivers was clocked at 167 km/h.

Again in this case, both had their driver’s licence suspended for 30 days and their vehicles impounded for 14 days.
