Rain forecasted all day Sunday in Ottawa

Showers are expected all day Sunday in the nation’s capital, with no respite until Monday.

Environment Canada forecasts between 10 and 15 mm of rain throughout the day, with temperatures reaching a high of 15 C, just under 2 degrees shy of the national average.

Southern winds are also expected to gust up to 50 km/h throughout the day and rain showers will continue into the evening and after midnight, with a low of 11 C.

All that rain should clear up by Monday morning, says the national weather service. Monday’s high is 21 C.

The evening is also expected to be clear with a low of 8 C.

So far, the weather service forecasts clear skies until Tuesday night but showers are expected to return on Wednesday.
