Gatineau police charge Smiths Falls man in sex assault case, believe there are more victims

A Smiths Falls man is facing charges following a sexual assault investigation by the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG).

Following an investigation lasting several weeks, the SPVG arrested Dastaan Noor, 38, on Tuesday, May 14 in connection with offences alleged to have happened during the month of March.

Noor faces the following charges:

  • Sexual assault
  • Obtaining sexual services for payment
  • Criminal harassment
  • Assault

Police also believe there are more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact the SPVG at 819 243-4636, option 5.

The investigation continues and further charges may be laid.
