Man hospitalized with serious injuries after south end assault

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a serious assault in the city’s south end.

Around 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, officers responded to the 3500 block of Downpatrick Road.

A 30-year-old man was located with serious injuries from an assault and transported to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made and police do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
