1 dead after being hit by train in Brockville, Ont.

Police say one person is dead after being hit by a train on its way to Toronto on Saturday.

In a news release, police say they received a report of a collision between a train and a pedestrian shortly after 11 a.m. just West of Perth Street.

Police say “the incident unfortunately resulted in a fatality.”

The investigation is ongoing and police say they are not releasing any more information at this time.
