25-year-old Ottawa man charged with murder in death that occurred earlier this week

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) have arrested and charged a man from Ottawa with murder following an investigation.

On Wednesday, OPS arrived at a home on Woodroffe Ave. in the morning following a call related to a suspicious death.

57-year-old woman, Deborah Owen, was found dead in the home at 11:15 a.m.

The next day, police determined it to be a homicide and the Homicide Unit took over the investigation.

Police arrested and charged 25-year-old Tyler Lambert with second-degree murder. He is to appear in court on Friday.
