Police investigating weekend shooting on Rideau Street

The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that took place on Rideau Street on Saturday, June 15.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. officers were called to the area of Rideau and Dalhousie Streets, locating a victim in his 20s with non-life-threatening injuries who was transported to hospital.

The Ottawa Police Service is asking anyone with information, cell phone footage, or any other video of the incident to contact the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050.
