One in life-threatening condition after two people shot in ByWard Market

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is on scene of a shooting in the ByWard Market.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Clarence Street, near Parent Avenue at 12:50 a.m. on July 2.

On scene, police found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, both were transported to hospital.

One victim is in life-threatening condition while the other is in serious but stable condition.

The investigation is on-going, police said in a press release.

Roads have now reopened in the area.
