Ottawa police catch man breaching bail conditions in Centretown

Last Friday afternoon, officers were patrolling the area of Bank Street and Somerset Street when they recognized a man.

According to police, this man was breaching his release conditions. After officials investigated, a firearm and a large quantity of drugs were recovered, and a second man was arrested.

The first man was charged with breaching his conditions x 4 and is facing multiple firearm and drug offences. The second man is facing drug charges and possession of property obtained by crime and obstruction of a peace officer.

The two appeared in court on Saturday.
