57-year-old man arrested for making child porn, other related offences
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) have arrested and charged an east-end man following a two-year long investigation with multiple police units across the country.
57-year-old Brent McMullen of Ottawa has been charged with the following:
- Make child pornography
- Make written child pornography
- Unlawfully possess child pornography
- Access child pornography
- Sexual interference
- Telecommunication agreement to commit specific criminal offence with another under 18 years of age
On Wednesday, the ICE unit executed a warrant at a residence in Ottawa which is where the man was arrested.

Officials say McMullen appeared in court the same day.
