Crews contain fire inside walls of multi-unit complex in Carlington
Firefighters responded to a multi-unit complex after 9-1-1 callers described smoke coming from a window in the Carlington area.
It happened around 5:33 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the 800 block of Kirkwood Avenue. Officials saw a three-storey, multi-unit building on fire with grey smoke coming from a window on the second floor.
A hose line was sent inside the building while a thermal imaging camera was used to locate where the source of the smoke was coming from. It showed high heat in the walls of the basement storage area.
