Police looking for driver who could have ‘crucial’ information in case

Officers are looking for the driver of a vehicle who may have “crucial” information on the death of a cyclist.
Ottawa police said the driver may hold important details as to the events leading up to a cyclist found in serious condition by responders on Old Richmond Road near Hope Side Road near the community of Bridlewood.
The vehicle is believed to be a 2019-2921 Hyundai Tucson, with four doors, and was travelling south on Old Richmond Road before turning right on Hope Side Road between 5:10 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Just after, police were called to the area and found a man in his 50s in serious condition under unknown circumstances. Officials said on Oct. 1 he succumbed to his injuries.
