Hwy. 17 near Renfrew closed briefly after three-vehicle crash

Provincial police say Highway 17 is now open after a collision just north of Renfrew, Ont.

Just after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday police responded to a three-vehicle crash on the highway between Chenaux Road and Haley Road.

One person was taken to a regional trauma centre by Ornge ambulance with “very serious injuries.”

Two other people were transported to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics.

In an update just after noon on Wednesday, officials said the injuries are not life-threatening.

“Please drive with care,” police said.
