Ottawa woman charged in Embrun drug bust
Two people are facing drug charges following a bust in Embrun.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Russell County detachment, executed a search warrant at a home on Notre Dame Street on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Police say officers seized approximately 120 suspected methamphetamine pills and over a gram of suspected cocaine, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.

Two women were arrested at the scene.
Julie Goyette, 50, of Ottawa, faces two counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Goyette was turned over to Hawkesbury OPP and another police service on unrelated matters.
Madeleine Ethier, 57, of Russell Township, faces one charge of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Ethier was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4.
