Man charged with voyeurism after incidents in Stittsville, Kars and more

A man faces multiple charges after a six-month-long investigation, Ottawa Police Services said.

According to officials, Geoffrey McKenna, 30, is facing voyeurism (four counts), criminal harassment (two counts) and mischief (two counts).

Voyeurism according to the Criminal Code is when someone observes or makes a recording for sexual purposes of a person who has a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Police said the investigation launched after multiple reports about a suspicious vehicle parking near a Stittsville home at night. Officials later said that several different homes were targeted in Stittsville, Richmond, Kars and North Gower.

He appeared in court on Jan. 8. Investigators believe there could be additional victims and are seeking more witnesses to report similar events.
