The Toronto Sceptres are visiting the nation’s capital on Tuesday at TD Place and taking on the Ottawa Charge at 7:00 p.m.
After an electric start to the 2025 season against New York and an overtime loss to Montreal, the hometown heroes are set to take on Toronto. Both times the Charge played the Sceptres in late 2024 they came out on top by one point.
There are still a number of tickets left at TD Place, a treat given the demand across the country for women’s hockey continues to grow this year.
At the first-ever Professional Women’s Hockey League game in Vancouver, a sold-out crowd of more than 19,000 fans cheered on Toronto and Montreal.
The Charge are adding to the lineup. The team noted in a press release that Alexa Vasko is back after being off with a long-term upper body injury since Dec. 6. The St. Catharines, Ont. native has one assist and the team’s first goal of the season.
On top of the swaps happening, the Charge released forward Taylor House from her full Standard Player Agreement and signed her back to a Reserve Player contract. She’s appeared in four games including during Vasko’s absence.
