Ten people facing more than 50 charges in Ottawa drug trafficking case

Provincial police busted a large drug ring and charged 10 people with dozens of offences in Ottawa and the surrounding area.

The investigation began in late 2024, led by the Ontario Provincial Police’s (OPP) guns and gangs team. It started in the nation’s capital and saw officers bring in the Sûreté du Québec, Ottawa Police Service, Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau and Canada Border Services Agency.

Several police forces in the area executed six search warrants on homes in Ottawa, Gatineau and Renfrew, Ont. and three vehicles were searched.

Drugs, with an estimated street value of around $113,000, Canadian currency and guns were taken from the locations.

Other items include:

• Two firearms
• Approximately 1.17 kg of suspected cocaine
• Approximately 8 g of suspected fentanyl
• More than 150 pregabalin tablets
• More than 390 alprazolam tablets
• More than 100 hydromorphone tablets
• $187,419 in Canadian currency
• Two vehicles as offence-related property
• Nine cell phones
• Digital scales
• Pepper spray
• Luxury watches and jewellery
• Two money counters
• Packaging material

There are 10 people charged in connection to the investigation they face offences such as obtained by crime over $5,000, drug and gun charges and trafficking offences. The accused range in age from 27 to 65.

• Nancy Said of Gatineau — 12 charges
• Sadek Mansour of Ottawa — 9 charges
• Daniel Sickman of Ottawa — 6 charges
• Micheal Belgalki of Ottawa — 6 charges
• Kimberly Deluca of Ottawa — 6 charges
• Todd Megrath of Renfrew — 6 charges
• Sherra Lynn White of Renfrew — 4 charges
• Elizabeth Roche of Renfrew — 2 charges
• Jordan Newton of Renfrew — 2 charges
