Armed and risk to public: Man on the run after discharging gun

Provincial police are warning the public to watch out for a man who is considered armed and dangerous.
Officials said the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment is investigating after a gun was discharged by an unknown person in a Petawawa, Ont. apartment building.
This happened on Saturday just after 10:30 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a firearm going off in an empty hallway. The building is in the 0-100 block of Wolfe Avenue.

According to police, no one was injured and the person of interest left on foot in an unknown direction.
He is described as:
- White male in his 30s, thin build, approximately 5’10”
- Wearing a dark coloured medical mask, dark jacket and dark pants
Officials say he is considered armed and a risk to public safety. They are asking people to call 911 if they see him.
