Police investigating homicide of 63-year-old man near Lebreton Flats

Officers responded to a side street just west of downtown to find a man with life-threating injuries.

Ottawa police said the calls came yesterday around 7:20 p.m. They arrived at Primrose Avenue East near Arthur Street and found a 63-year-old man with serious injuries. Ottawa paramedics attended the scene with several units, a spokesperson told CityNews, and transported one adult to the trauma centre; where they later died, according to police.

The victim is Paul Scott Landymore, of Ottawa, officials released on Sunday.

No arrests have been made and officials believe there is no risk to the public.
