Stolen credit card used at 3 Kanata businesses; police report significant loss

Ottawa police are looking for help identifying a man involved in a series of fraudulent credit card transactions that happened last month.

In a press release, officials say the suspect used a stolen credit card at three separate businesses in the Kanata area. The incident resulted in significant financial losses.

The suspect is described as a white man, who is bout 40-50 years old. He has a goatee and a heavy build. The accused was last seen wearing white/grey running shoes, navy blue jogging pants, a beige or black jacket, a white/beige shirt and a black hat.

Police say he is often seen wearing a medical mask and has reading glasses hanging around his neck. He does wear a wedding ring on his left hand.
