One dead in crash involving motorcycle and ATV

A crash involving a motorcycle and an ATV has left one man dead.
It happened on Friday just after 10 p.m. OPP officers from Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry were called to the scene on County Road 11 southeast of Chesterville – approximately 60 km outside of Ottawa.
The initial investigation determined that a motorcycle was travelling eastbound when it collided with an ATV that was parked on the roadway.
Police say a passerby performed CPR on the motorcycle rider until paramedics arrived on scene. Despite responders attempts at life-saving measures, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old male staying in the North Grenville area. His family has been notified.
OPP and the Technical Collision Investigators are continuing the investigation.
