Man, 20s, dead after two-vehicle crash on Prince of Wales

Police are asking people to come forward with information after a fatal crash on Monday morning.

According to a press release, officers were called to Prince of Wales Drive near Third Line Road between North Gower and Manotick. The incident happened at 7:40 a.m. between two vehicles.

Officials said that one man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was taken to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Firefighters were also called to the scene to extricate a driver from one of the vehicles. Using tools they were able to remove the driver from the vehicle within eight minutes.

Investigators are asking anyone with footage or who may have witnessed the incident to call 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
