Man faces over a dozen charges for sexual incidents involving a minor

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leeds County, Ont. have charged a man in his 40s following a police investigation.
The OPP along with the Leeds County Crime Unit began the investigation after a victim came forward to police on Dec. 11, 2025.
Police said in a release they received “information regarding several offences against a young person”.
As a result, 43-year-old Michael Nadzipov of Leeds County has been charged with:
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Sexual assault
- Forcible confinement
- Sexual exploitation
- Sexual interference
- Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
- Luring a person under 18 years of age by means of telecommunication
- Communicate with anyone under 18 years of age for purpose of obtaining sexual services
- Make sexually explicit material available to a person under 16 years of age
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Intimidation
- Procuring under 18 years of age
- Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
- Failure to comply with undertaking
- Obstruct justice
Nadzipov was brought into police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Brockville, Ont. court at a later date.
