Illegal drugs, replica firearms seized in Carleton Place

OPP are seeking an arrest warrant for a Beckwith Township resident in connection to a drug investigation.

The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit began an investigation into cocaine trafficking in Carleton Place in late 2025.

On Jan. 30, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Townline Road East.

During the search, officers seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, several realistic looking replica firearms, and other items typical associated with drug trafficking.

Police are now seeking a warrant for the arrest of a 40-year-old resident for drug possession.

The investigation is ongoing.
