Fatal rollover crash on Hwy. 417 in west Ottawa

One person was pronounced dead by Renfrew County Paramedics who got a call for a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning.

According to Ontario Provincial Police, a westbound lane on Highway 417 at Panmure Road in Kinburn is closed following the crash. The lone occupant of the vehicle was killed.

Ottawa paramedics who said they got the call indicated that it was a rollover crash.

Police said people should expect a lengthy closure and to avoid the area if possible.
