Killaloe resident facing more than a dozen charges in child luring case

A 27-year-old from the Ottawa Valley is facing more than a dozen charges following a search warrant on a house late last month.
According to a press release from provincial police, on July 30, officers went to a home and found evidence. It was in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation.
As a result, a Killaloe resident is facing several Criminal Code offences.
The counts include:
- Abduction of a person under 14 take or entice
- Luring a person under 14 by means of telecommunication
- Luring a person under 18 by means of telecommunication
- Luring a person under 16 by means of telecommunication
- Make sexually explicit material available to a person under 14
- Extortion – two counts
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 – two counts
- Sexual interference
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16
- Makes, prints, publishes or possess for the purpose of publication any child pornography
- Import, distributes, sells or possess for the purpose of distribution or sale any child pornography
- Possession of child pornography – two counts
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in a Pembroke court. Limited details are available to protect the identity of the victims.
