Police find more pills at third Orléans park

After searching multiple locations near two Orléans parks, Ottawa police say they have found pills in a third area.
In an update on Monday, officials said they found pills at Ruisseau Park on Creek Crossing Street, just down the road from Blue Willow Park and Silverbirch Park.
Over the weekend, a concerned resident called police after they found what they believed were drugs “scattered” around a park. The resident also told officers that they believe the pills were spread around in a suspicious way.
After arriving at the scene, police were able to find pills around bushes, trees, throughout the grass, and even hidden inside of acorns. There were a range of colours and sizes, the press release details.
To date, officers say they have found more than 100 pills at these parks, that all have playgrounds, some with soccer fields and are nearby to an elementary school.
They are asking people in the area to be vigilant with young children and pets, and want members of the public to report any suspicious activity.
Police say that if someone finds a pill or any other unknown substances, to not touch them and call 911 immediately.
The investigation is ongoing.
