Brockville man faces child luring charges

BROCKVILLE– Brockville OPP have charged a 44-year old man with trying to lure a child over the internet.
The 17-month investigation resulted in an arrest last Friday of a man in Prescott: Police say he’d gone there to meet a 13-year old girl he believed was waiting for him there.
Investigators also seized a cellphone.
44-year old Jason Ronald Link of Brockville, faces two charges of luring a child over the internet.
He’s expected in court today for a bail hearing.
