Four injured as car crashes into Popeyes restaurant

OTTAWA — A scary moment for several customers inside a Popeyes in Gloucester.

After 7 p.m., Saturday, a car crashed through the a window of the restaurant at Montreal Road and Ogilvie Road, sending glass flying across the restaurant and onto diners.

Four people sustained minor injuries, including two children – all who were inside the restaurant.

The children and their father were taken to hospital.

A woman driving the car had her two kids with her but none of them were hurt in the crash.
