Three dead in Scarborough after apparent crossbow attack

A man is in custody and three people are dead after an apparent crossbow attack on a residential street in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics confirm the deceased are two men and a woman, all adults. Another male was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

It happened at Lawndale and Argo roads near Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road.

Homicide detectives are on scene and have launched an investigation.
