Ottawa Comiccon returns for seventh year

OTTAWA – The EY Centre is playing host to Ottawa Comiccon this weekend.

The event is packed with plenty of panels, activities, and of course — celebrities!

The three-day event celebrates movies, comics, television and video games, and is expected to draw around 40,000 people.

This year's guests of honour are Jason Momoa of Game of Thrones and Justice League, Karl Urban of Star Trek and Matt Smith of Doctor Who.

This year's featured guests include Brent Spiner of Star Trek TNG, Bruce Boxleitner of Tron / Babylon 5, Laurie Holden and Cooper Andrews of The Walking Dead, Steve Cardenas of Power Rangers, Nick Bradshaw of Guardians of the Galaxy, Neal Adams of Batman and Richard Comely of Captain Canuck.

Comiccon runs Friday through Sunday; tickets are available online.
