St. John Ambulance holding second PPE drive

St. John Ambulance is holding it's II CPE Drive in Ottawa to collect essential personal protective equipment for healthcare workers.
In collaboration with the Ontario Medical Association the two organizations are looking for essentials like like N95 masks, level 2 gowns, face shields and surgical mask and other supplies like diapers, wipes, baby formula and feminine hygiene products for women's shelters.
When : Saturday May 2
Wime : 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: St. John Ambulance, 1050 Morrison Dr. in Ottawa
Frontline workers rely on personal protective equipment to protect themselves from COVID-19 to minimize the spread of the virus . The drive will accept any quantity of PPE from individual businesses or organizations as donations.
“Every little bit helps the fight to conquer COVID-19,” statement from St. John Ambulance said.
The donated supplies must be unused.
The supplies collected at the drive will be going to clinics, hospitals, family physicians, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, women's shelters and other community health groups .
The drive will also accept iPads and tablets as well as grocery gift cards and talk and text gift cards.
