Heron Road Food Basics employee tests positive for COVID-19

An employee of a south-end grocery store has tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee works at the Food Basics on Heron Road. Metro, the store's parent company, says the employee last worked July 26, and that it was notified on July 30. The company says that all public health guidelines were followed, including cleaning and sanitization of the store.
The store remains open.
